Having had the luxury of voting early, I had the fortune of having the beach all to myself last night while everyone was at the booths. Good thing too because it was a dandy. Like Eric, I noticed how awesome the sky was forming to the West and made a beeline to get into position for a good sunset.

Very nice way to remember the day, Bryan.
Only thing missing is the red plastic Crab on the rocks in the FG
Otherwise......wish I was there

Nice water and sweet sky. That is some election day coverage I can appreciate.
I find your watermark overwhelms the image quite a bit.

Bryan,
Very pretty seascape. I really like the colors in the water and the shutter speed worked nice to create a bit of a swirl in the foreground. Personally, I would like the see top third a bit brighter. It seems disproportionally darker than my eye wants it to be. Otherwise, a nice image.
I very nice image of a favorite place of mine. Is that seal rock out there? I would agree with Lon though that the upper part is a bit dark.

Thanks for the comments all!
For whatever reason, the on-screen display of this image does seem darker in a compressed enviroment. But inside photoshop and on print, the curves indicate its plenty bright up top. I guess I can blame the Smugmug display for it looking so dark LOL
Anyway, it is Seal Rock, Jason that spot is such a wonderful spot. Contino point, Shaw's Cove, all that area along Crescent bay is magical.

Ah yes... I know this place well. Looks like you were able to take advantage of a little higher tide than the last time I ventured through there. I like the way the water motion fills up around the fg rocks. I also like the way the cloud formations seem to radiate outward from the seal rocks. Nice mix of colors too. If you see a crazy guy with a back pack full of gear, tripod and light stand bounding about on the rocks down there... that'd be me. Hopefully we'll cross paths some time. Nice work!
