Female Stonechat
Canon EOS 1Ds MKII, 600mm f4 IS, 1.4x conv.

Hi All,

A Short Eared Owl turned up on my patch a week ago, seen by a mate hunting, I could'nt make it and it's not been seen since :frown: so must have just been passing through. I did however have some fun with the ever reliable Stonechats while keeping an eye open for the SEO.

She came so close at times she was within my minimum focus distance!

That is a cracking shot Rob. Lovely composition, pose, background and enough detail to show it's environment. Great image.
