Wow very nice, I was wondering if they had came down , I spent a few days last year at Georgetown, never did get a head butt shot, although I heard one. Is this the start of the rut?

Thanks Gary. Pretty close to the start I believe. I tried Georgetown, but did not see any up there this morning.

Hey Dan! Great shot! That must have been you standing there next to I-70. I drove by on my way to Silverthorne to do some fly-fishing.

This is a very good shot technically, but this fellow looks quite strange with his head twisted. If there were another ram in the frame, then I think this pose would make more sense.

Love the pose, and what Mel said definitely would make it better, however if it were mine I would be very happy just the same. Great behavior shot!

Thanks for the comments! He was approaching a group of females, and I noticed the males always seem to twist their heads that way. I do have some with a more straight on approach, just thought this was a little more unique!

Both are great photos; the first being my favorite because of the uniqueness.
