I'm not sure if your image has loaded up correctly? The image is very very dark.

Rather than being falsly overlit, this shot gives me the same feeling as this sort of fleeting glimpse would give, I might be inclined to just lift the fox out a bit more with PP, but I like it like this.

Hi Jack,
I thought your last one was excellent but I'm afraid this one doesn't work as well for me as it's just too dark. Maybe try and illuminate the area very slightly, as if it's the light from the moon.

Like the last one -this needs more gamma at least, but doing that may increase the noise just too much.
My monitor is not the best and may be not set up correctly but I just can't see anything in this image. Like I said in your last post I reckon that bit of boost would have made all the difference.( And ireckon the comments would have doubled ! )
Cheers

perhaps my monitor is too dark? is this better?

John: photoshop elements doesn't seem to have a gamma slider?

the second image is better but like Justin this one doesn't quite work, just the lighting really. The other image had a tableaux vivant feel about it with really strong lighting, I think this image would benefit from the same approach perhaps?

Shame, as I think it would be a really nice shot if it was just illuminated a little more at the time of shooting. The second post has too much colour noise, but is about right for exposure in my opinion. Your monitor could be too light - not too dark. If it was too dark, your images would look too bright on other peoples' monitors.

Sorry agree with the other comments Jack, the scene needs a bit more light at the time of shooting but can appreciate how tricky it is to get that right. Keep at it though, I think you're on the right lines
