Just returned from a trip to Sedona. The trip was actually a getaway with the wife where I had to promise to keep photography to a minimum. To my own amazement, I kept true to my word as I only brought out the camera one evening and the final morning. Here's one shot from that final morning at the Seven Sacred Pools (well you can see two of them anyway). Fortunately for me, it was one of the only times during our stay that the weather cooperated for shooting.

Really superb, Guy.... I think this image is great all the way around.
Just the tiniest nit would be the edge of the rock against the sky... but not seeing the hi-res it's hard to say; edges in this kind of image suffer a bit online.
Beautiful. Have you printed it?

Wow, this image is fantastic! Nice work! I love the comp and colors.

Thanks for the comments guys.
Nat...I had to have a look at the full res shot after your comment. I believe what is bothering you are the shrubs that sit atop some of the the rock spires. I agree that they look a bit funky at this small viewing size. I plan to print this soon, but I'm waiting on a couple of replacement ink cartridges from HP.

Very nice, Guy. Quite unique. The stillness of the pools, especially the large one, is great. Nice work.

Welcome home!
Looks like you made the most of your 'non-photography' days in Sedona.
As noted, this is a unique and very nice view of the Sedona area.
The 'tiniest nit' comment probably referred to the small, sharp halo present between the rock in the water and the sky.

Really beautiful colours, and strong composition!. For a non-photgraphy trip you came away with something pretty nice!!.

Perfect!

Nice comp, but knowing the area well, the rock feels a bit too orange. But maybe that's just the morning light.
