Hi All,
Well, I just spent the last several days going through my entire library, which, according to LightRoom, amounts to over 270,000 images! It took LightRoom 2.0 overnight to catalog them all! I thought LightRoom would never stop counting images!
My goal was to pull out all the very best and get many of them posted on the Web. Here's what I learned during this process:
1. About 130,000 images are either crap or "documentary" (we were here and then we went there).
2. About 70,000 were "child" images (variants of a master) - I gotta start using LightRoom to create these!!
3. About 50,000 were duplicates of masters - just located in other folders.
4. About 20,000 were CMYK, or something other than what LightRoom could import in it's catalog.
5. About 1000 were "keepers" - what I think is really good material.
6. My work really has been improving through the years.
7. I resolve to regularly clean out the cupboards - EDIT...EDIT...EDIT!
Anyway, I just posted a whole batch of new material to the Colorado, California, Southwest, Fire, Past Projects and Architecture galleries. ENJOY!

Hi Ken - great to hear you got everything cataloged! I bet you found quite a few hidden gems in that vast library... can't wait to see some of the stuff processed out of LR too!
