After some great conditions on the moors yesterday I had no chance of getting what I wanted from the colours and light due as I couldnt get the composition. I returned to this circle three times in the end as I wandered around lost, to get the shot right without torn rain clouds messing everything up.
A square shot from a magazine cover shot idea, converted to B&W and then split toned to add blues to the shadow and make it look like an inky print, the one thing I sorely miss about film.

Hi David
I like the image, very, very much, did you process in Lightroom??

David I like this a lot. Only comment (from a distinct non-expert!) would be that the line of the stones takes my eye out the right hand edge of the shot. Appreciate its hard to compose it so you're led around the circle though

Hello David.
The square composition works very well for this image.
For me the most important part of the image are the three standing stones in the backgound. The main stones lead you out of the picture, but then the three in the background pull you back. Also like the lighting on the three background stones which stops them from blending in with the dark trees behind them.

Hi David,
Square crop works really well, and (as usual) the PC work on the B&W toned conversion is exemplary.
Like it a lot.
