Strelitzia Reginae / Bird of Paradise Flower
Sorry for being not so much on this forum. I have been busy (and still am) with a number of assignments which has nothing to do with nature (food and party).
Last week I made some time for myself and bought this flower in the shop for photographing it.
Hope you like it.

Exposure time 25 s
F-number f/22
Exposure program Manual
ISO speed ratings ISO 100
Focal length 90 mm
I used a flash 4 times. One from left, one from right, one from up and one from below. This was al manual and not connected to the camera (I walked around with it and flashed by hand).

All C&C are welcome

If someone has some tips or sites for/about food photography please let me know. Thanks in advance.
I hope to be back soon. :wavey:

nice detail and sharp too. I don't know if it is the same for this sort of work, but I have been trying some new more commercially based work(see my site, on the blog). I have found that you need to find an absolute mint specimen to really make the image jump off the page/screen.

This has a nice collaboration of colours and works well on the black.

nice work

Hi all,

Thanks for all the compliments. I hope I do have some time to make nature photographs in the near future.
