I never got to this place until I moved out of Ohio. I sure wish I had spent time here when I lived about 45 minutes away!
I can see endless photographic possibilities here any time of year. If you are in the area , or even if you ant to make a weekend out of it get over to this place.(Located in Kirtland, east of Cleveland off I 90 about 35 minutes)
This was taken while scouting prior to the workshop last month.

Jack, I love the vivid colors from the greens in the foreground to the blues and whites in the clouds and everything else in between! I'm putting this location on my Ohio list for sure. Thanks for sharing,
Jack, Love it!!!! Strange because I live in Mentor Ohio 15 minutes away. I seem to remeber my kids to to field trips there but seems that I never to my camera there.
Thanks for the heads up

The total acreage at Holden is 3500 acres!! There are places that you can only see with an official guide because they are so dense and not normally seen.
Ian Adams, a known Ohio photographer, conducts photographic classes at Holden about four times a year.
I spend a fair amount of time there and just love it. Many of the botanical gardens around the US are on a "reciprocal" membership where your membership in one gives you entrance to all the others!! Cheap at twice the price.
