Flaming crow
Had an early day from work and as the rain had finally stopped I rushed out to get some pictures of a huge starling roost near here. Totally wrong place for the starlings but a fantastic sunset and this carrion crow obligingly flew in and perched in front of me.

Lovely colours. When I first saw it I thought it was a forest fire coming towards you.
Agree on the composition

Lovely shot - something a little bit different, and all the more enjoyable for that.

The centre section is a bit overpowering to me but it could be the monitor.
Good stuff though.

Love this one, Robert. Has a very dramatic, almost end-of-the-world feel to it. Well spotted and nicely executed.
