While doing a slide program at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville last night I made a comment about photographers Bill (Dark) and Aaron (Szabo), who were both at the program and active contributers here of course. They were sitting next to each other at the front of the room, although there were several empty seats in between them. Turns out they had never met in person and did not know who each other was, so I introduced them in front of the crowd - it was a hoot! It is probably a good thing that we don't all have look-alike hats and shirts like other message boards do, I think...

Tim, after doing slide shows for so many years, I guess you can probably tell the photographers from the rest of the crowd - we tend to get the best seats in the house - front row. Thanks for introducing me to Aaron, I probably wouldn't have met him otherwise.
It was a great program, and I have to say that the new Arkansas Lansdcapes book is your best yet. The quality of reproduction is fantastic. I really can't wait to see your Arkansas Fall book when it comes out. Thanks for putting on such a great show!

Tim, was there thunderous applause for these two when you introduced them? I would have enjoyed seeing that myself ... good story.

Tim, as an owner of Arkansas Landscapes I've already had the privilege sinking my eyes deep into those amazing images, but it was a more valuable experience seeing those images move to the sound of music (Fotomagico is my favorite slideshow application). It was funny that you STOPPED YOUR PROGRAM to introduce Bill Dark and myself to each other- I guess we deserved it for sitting close to each other and not knowing it...
Bill, it was great to meet you and talk lenses and color for a while. It's not everyday that you get to see two of Arkansas' finest photographers in the same room.
Wayne, there was a thunderous applause for us and after the show we had to sign thousands of signatures... -YEAH RIGHT!
