I'm one of the new kids on the block, but not by age I hasten to add! I took early retirement almost two years ago now to concentrate on my love of photography. Paul, Brad & Hank, many thanks for your warm words of welcome. Apologies, I forgot to say that I'm based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire in the UK - just about at the center of England - but have spent much of my working life (at least since 1980) in the US. Given my mid Atlantic "center of gravity" I hope to be able to contribute some interesting images from some less "well trodden" destinations like the following from Cazorla Natural Park in Spain. That said I'm working on plans for a return visit to the GC, Monument Valley and Arches NP next March........... Kind Regards, Cliff
Looking forward to learning (and seeing!) more about your locations, Cliff. Keep everyone posted about your plans for the US Southwest. Lots of folks here on the site live near or are frequent visitors there, so it might be a chance for you to cross paths with a few.

Cliff, welcome, I checkout out your site nice layout but don't care for the watermarks on all your images, very distracting. I noticed the name on the watermark is the host of the site, is this why?

Jody, thanks for your comments - good point about the watermark. It is a "recommended" option offered by Clikpic and gives the owner the option to either use their version or upload a personalised one. Now that you've mentioned it I totally agree with you and will see if I can withdraw it or at least change it to something less obtrusive.
