Just writing to say that one of my images, "Crestone Colors," is one of the finalists in Outdoor Photographer's "Nature's Colors" contest. (Somewhere in the top 115 out of more than 8,600)
There's also THREE awesome images by Tien-Chien Chen that made it to the finals. Ned Fenimore from the Pacific NW Forum also has one in there. Not sure if there are any more NPN members, but congratulations to them if there are!
Looks like the competition is tight. There are some nice images in the final so I'm not expecting to win, but it was nice to get this far. The title of my image was lost in their gallery I think because I used quote marks when I submitted it but you can check it out and all of the other images here: http://www2.outdoorphotographer.com/colors/

Beautiful, Josh--congrats! I missed the deadline by a couple hours coming back from Zion

I think Tad Bowman is a friend of Jesse's, and I spotted a shot by our very own Bret Edge. That's an incredibly strong collection of images. With few exceptions, the editors of the Sierra Club engagement calendar could just pluck out the whole lot, throw 'em in the next calendar and call it a day.
