Ecola Sunset
The sunset was beautiful, the comp?, i'm not sure. Taken a few years ago. 20d, 16mm focal length, 1/5 sec shutter, iso 100.

Color and light is gorgeous. On my PC I did a crop on top and bottom and made a pano, like a banner, and that really looked neat. Yes, I'm supposed to be working right now.

Cliff.
Good question... I might try this with the hillside removed and just the rocks in the water showing? Awfully nice shot though..

Beautiful colors! I was actually thinking the same thing as Jack, that I might crop out the hillside and leave the rocks.

First off.....grats on a georgous caputure of some very lucky color.

Playing with it, I personally think if you crop just a bit more off the left side (effectivly reducing the hill by about 1/2) it balances out the composition. You need the anchor on that side with the lines of color radiating from that side....it just needs to be a smaller anchor as it is very heavy being solid black.

I'd like to see a bit more foreground with some of the waves tapering out. A vertical without the hillside would be fun to look at.

I like the overly saturated colors......looks good......I have seen colors like this before so to me they look natural or they were!!!! Well done!
