Bunch Grass, low water
While wandering along the banks of the Icicle River at low water, I noticed these strange bunch grasses.

TK's luminosity masks, Marc's web sharpening.
Sony R1, two exposures 1/30 @ f/10 each for different focus blending.

Comments appreciated as always.

Nice shot and composition. Maybe darken up the rocks in the back a bit, maybe not...

Marc,
Just a nit... space on the rick (left side) might be OK but this is a really good image. DOF is great. Look out Nikon & Canon---Sony is getting its act together!

I like the bottom half of the image cropped just above the big rock, it seems to me the eye is led out of the main stubbles of grass as you go up into the shot. Obviously, but you know what i mean. :)

I think it might be a bit heavy on the right side. Aside from that, not a bad image.

I like the way that grass wanders into the background. I think my take on the right side heavy is only with the bit of trunk in the upper right corner, the rocks I like.

if I were gonna do anything I would crop out the top 1/3rd of the image.....concentrate on the brush grass...
