Very nice, I like the autumnal leaves. Is that some cloning I can see between the leaves on the left?? Lovely lot of detail on the bird!!

I agree with Andy - there is nothing dull about sparrows, and you have caught this one very well.

The little flock we have in our garden are very entertaining and I consider the males to be quite handsome little chaps. NIce image John.

Dull? I think that they have the most fantastic markings when viewed in an image. They aslo have great characters much larger than their size. Really like the image a lovely crisp autumn scene wit the subject well sepahrated from the leaves. Agree with Dawn that there is something funny going on in the water between the two leaves, seems to be a repeating pattern.

Don't see nearly as many as we used to and I thinl I used to take them for granted. I agree they are great to watch, and this is a cracker!

Thanks for your interest.

For those who have examined this picture with a microscope for reasons only known to them.
- there is no cloning ! Why would I need to ?
If you look carefully you should be able to see that it is an OOF leaf on the bottom of a muddy puddle showing leaf veins. It seems to me that you appear to be wanting to make it something more. The reason for this is beyond me. But in todays photographic climate I am probably not that surprised. I sometimes wonder why I bother to post anything at all.
Only you have the answer .

A great shot of an often ignored bird. I count myself lucky that I've got House Sparrows living in the Leylandii in my front garden.
