Egret

Hello from a windy Southern Florida, over here on holiday and could not resist bringing the camera gear. This is one from the beach at Marco island late in the day about half an hour before sunset.

This really pops, I like the reflection and I also like the really dark blue band at the back, realls adds contrast to the image imo.

My only nit, and its with most of these sorts of shots, is the harsh reflection of the water on the birds plumage. It doesn't really harm the image, I just wish it wasn;t there!

Very nice indeed, personally I don't mind the water reflections. In some shots they don't work but in this one I don't mind them. Only 6 days to go and I'll be out there too, hopefully we'll get that chance to meet up
