Another Shot Through the Woods
I took this shot back 6 weeks ago. Really trying to find some interesting foreground while hoping to lead the eye to the fireworks going on in the background.

Thoughts on this shot..croping etc.

Sometimes less is more as this shot proves. The bare trees and fog in the background really cause the little bit of color to pop out. Just as appealing, in my opinion, as if the entire fram was filled with color. Very nice!

It works for me for the reasons you describe, Harold. Those red leaves in the fg are really sharp.

I like it a lot, Harold! I might brighten the mid-tones a bit, and crop out the partial tree trunks on the right and left edges of the frame. But then you might need to crop from the bottom to just above the yellow leaves to keep it from being too long and skinny...

I agree with Lori. Wonderful image, Harold, but slightly crop the sides where the partial tree trunks are showing and then a little from the top to keep the aspect ratio. A keeper for sure!

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. I apologize for taking so long in getting back to everyone. Little overwhelmed with work and upcoming holiday preparations for family visiting.

Here is the revised version.
