One from a few days ago - although the birds are a little tighter in the frame than I would have liked, I like the symmetry between the two swans!

Thats a brave comment John !!!!
Pictorially this really works David. I like the light coming through the feathers. Only nit is self observed, a bit tight on the left for me.
Cheers

I like this a lot David, not to tight for me & I agree with your comments on the symmetry between the two swans.
Well captured

Hi David,I like the symmetry between the two swans and as you mention a bit tight on the LHS.

Fantastic symmetry, and the exposure is spot on. Possibly a touch large in the frame but it is marginal. If they were smaller it would have added more water and slightly weakened the detail on the birds. Unlike the others here I have no problems with the amount of space on the left as both birds are moving nicely into the frame, but would have preferred the birds slightly higher in the frame with more reflection below.

Hi David
Nicely timed and executed shot. I'd agree with John about the birds needing to be higher in the frame, but the image illustrates your usual high level of skill with moving subjects. The 300 mm + x2 seems to make a good alternative to the real long prime lens for this type of work.
Cheers,
Chris

I like it a lot, even if it is just a tad tight. Lovely light.
