Wild Sky
The sky went wild a couple weeks ago, forming this tornado-like cloud above town. No rotation, etc, just a wild looking formation. The first pic is a wider angle shot, with a bit of tree branches for perspective. The second shot was taken a couple minutes later, and is almost full frame.

Very unusual, but beautiful Rob. It's amazing how much color clouds can have at certain times of the day...and when you get formations like this, it makes it even better. Thanks for sharing.

The are many of elements of nature to pay attention to here in Kansas that's for sure. Your doing a really fine job of capturing those Rob.

Beautiful image Rob, especially the second. I like the abstract nature of the clouds and the sunset colors.

Rob: I like both iterations and think you included just the right amount of tree in the first post to give it some scale and so it wouldn't look like a mistake or a distraction. Finely crafted images.>=))>

Wow, that is one special sky you've captured Rob! The structure of the cloud does mimic a tornadic system only blessed with exquisite color and no damage! Thanks for sharing this special capture Rob. :toast:
