what a beautiful image, great colours and reflections. It's a shame the tree on the LHS is lost in shadow and background, (maybe the image you have surely mounted on your wall looks ok though) A lower view point may have helped if that was possible

At this size you are quite right the trees do seem to get lost in the dark background, and the full size image is fine with plenty of detail.
I do find that landscapes lose a lot of there impact at this size, but I do like my landscape photography as much as my nature photography. So I thought I would post some landscapes for a while.

Beautiful scene with great colours and sky. I think the nearest tree is not the ideal shape and a bit busy, that is my only minor nit and I am guessing that had you shot from a lower angle as Colin suggested you would not have achieved such a good reflection!
