Don't mess with me!!!!!!!
That's what he was thinking I guess. This huge male is about 150 kilogram. Very strong, clever and fast. I saw this one drinking by a pool. Danny and me were so lucky to be there at the right moment.
We got plenty more oportunities but more of that later.

Hi Edwin

Very nice image in a great setting - in the UK the few real Wild Boar we have are very very difficult to photograph!

Love the autumn colours in this, gives it a nice moody feel. Quite a big stocky chap too..

Maybe lose a bit off the top for my taste.

Edwin, nice shot - mean looking critter! I'm puzzled to know what the dark thing is running left to right just in front of the trees - any ideas?

That's a super capture Ed - very much a cover comp :wavey:

The only thing I'm not so keen on is the fallen tree (if that's what it is) that Cliff mentioned - on the left of the pig it's okay as there are some leaves giving some separation between it and the pigs body but on the right its coming straight out of the subject - just a very minor nit

Agree about the comp, for other uses I think a bit off the top would help improve an already great shot. Only thing I find a bit odd is the (lack of) eyes... but that's boars for you

Nice Edwin, the boar really stands out from the autumn colours. Looks very mean, not something you would want to bump into on a dark night!
