Another image from last fall. I was out on a very frosty and foggy morning in early November. I was actually hiking out to a location for a different image. I turned around and saw this scene and stopped to make a few snaps before heading on. This was a trip I did not have the 4x5 with me but boy I sure wish I had brought it.
In PS I was going for the right mix of fog and contrast with a bit of color.

It is beautiful Darren. The contrast of a bright foreground and a misty background has created an awesome image,.

Darren, I really like the way the the light tones work with the two track - they lead you right into the fog and the mystery beyond. I'm wondering what a saturation bump would do with the leaves? Nice capture,

Darren- I think this is absolutely a great photograph. A very moody atmosphere, almost spooky. Like someone mentioned earlied about more saturation, I would really like to see this done in lab mode for all the colours available in this photograph.
Very nice Darren, love the atmoshphere with the fog. Great comp as well. Almost looks like a glow on the white grasses in the fg, gives it a nice dreamy feel.
