This is a quick hand-held shot somewhere below Merritt Lake early spring, who knows where the trail was. The meadow was melted out and the morning sun on the Hemlock were reflected in the icy water.
Anyone think this is worth keeping?

The reflected light is powerful, but I don't find anything interesting me here.

It does look a bit mucky and like Marc said, little interest.

The reflection in the water is certainly noteworthy; looks like metallic foil. I like the pattern and abstract nature of the comp which could be improved by cropping the strip of shoreline off the top. I don't think you should can it just yet; keep working it, esp. in the darker areas. Depends on how much time you want to spend with it, I guess?
