Another shot from my project earlier in the start of the year. He heard my shutter going from my car window and took a quick glance at me, before continuing down the dyke in search of Voles!
An excellent capture, perhaps a tad low in the frame but that is a very personal thing.

Thats nice Tim, really like the head turn and eye contact. I would like to get some of these very envious.

Ah - lovely shot! Are you able to lift the shadows just a little?
Posted by Tim Gregory on November 23, 2008 at 10:11 AM
Adjusted levels and brought the shadows up a tad, (replaced the file, a refresh should show it if its cached in your browser) I quite like the contrast between the lighter and darker side of his face so I didn't shift the shadows that much as it starts to look a bit ropey imo.

Hi Tim,
I remember images like this one from the 'other' forum, but it doesn't change the fact that it's a cracker!
I'm hoping to get some better ones of 'mine' soon.
Iain.

Super capture Tim.

Fine flight shot, prefer it now that you have lightened the shadows. Agree with Major regarding the eye contact, it certainly knows that you are there.

Great eye contact, would be fun to PS in a lamp post or tree though
I like the fuzzyness to the wing tips too, giving the sence of motion.

Thanks for the comments guys. The processed version does look a lot better, the original one was practically off camera!.
