While in Grand Junction over the weekend, I had a chance to shoot at Colorado Nat'l Monument one morning ~ this image is looking towards the coke ovens from Artist Point. It's a reverse sunrise with western clouds lit up in pastels.
CNM is magic and I'd highly recommend it for Thansgiving shooting - unlimited potential.

Nice conditions there Dave. The clouds seem to be reflecting a nice glow back onto the rocks.

Great exposure and sweet color! I'm with Guy, I keep driving by, meaning to spend some time up there and don't. I even have family in Fruita to stay with. Maybe next time...

Indeed, ive been there a few times and it never dissapoints. Id love to get there sometime when the canyon is filled with fog. Nice shot, Dave!
