Insanely busy at the moment, three different setups, three different lenses and three different types of specimen and my head is starting to hurt
This is from a couple of weeks ago, it seems that we are having all the good weather during the week when I am at work and the weekends are very poor. I think I know the ID to this one but am awaiting confirmation.
All the best
Phil

Hi Phil
I don't know what it is but I love it, especially the falling rain!

Sorry, can't help you with the ID, but I really like the picture!

excellent Phil, lovely lighting and colours and I really like the rain. I might have been tempted to focus stack to get the moss in focus, but no big deal.
It looks like a mycena sp. to me, but that doesn't narrow it down much (and might be wrong)

To be really nit picking I think I wopuld have liked some more space at the top, and then possibly the sides to balance it, if required. I think that would make it more commercial.
As I said an excellent shot.

Excellent! Lovely autumnal colours, great sharpness and detail and the falling rain really makes it!!

Hi Phil, another exquisite image from you and I have come to expect nothing less. As for the ID I think it is either Mycena aetites or Mycena leptocephala, and I am leaning towards the latter.. I'm not sure if I am in your ball park but hope it narrows it down a bit.. Can get it confirmed if you like..? Also, will give you a call to catch up and arrange a meet.
