Red Squirrel amongst Autumn Leaves
Just spent four days in Holland with Edwin Kats and had a great time photographing this Guy and Wild Boar. Nice to do some Reds instead of those Greys.

another beauty Danny. Lovely lighting and Autumnal colours. Are the reds still fairly common in Holland?

The colours and lighting are superb in this one. Excellent details in the squirrel too.

The lighting here is wonderful and really complements the colour of the squirrel. Love the low viewpoint and clear background Danny!

Light and viewpoint are great.
Not keen on the clipped tail and OOF tufts.

An excellent shot by any standard, no crits here.

I am really enjoying this recent series of yours Danny, this is no exception. The lighting and wonderful Autumnal colouration is superb. The control of DOF and attention to detail is evident in each of these recent shots..

love the colours and overall appearance, you really get a sense of the animals environment with the low POV and the OOF foreground.

cheers

Well done matey :wavey: I know how cold we were in that hide  The Dutch pea soup kept us warm. You did spend a lot of time in that hide and never gave up. You deserve this fine image.

Well done.

ps: Mike was up for two hours today

Another excellent image Danny, the lighting reminds me a bit of the recent hedgehog image you posted.
