This was taken in Islay in April. Was very excited driving along the road and coming across these deer. Hadn't ever seen these before and to see them whilst with camera was great.
Hand held against side of hire car (no scratches obviously!) very sore arms and rubbish hand holding technique!
Processed on laptop so no idea what this will look like. I'm sure you'll tell me!
techs unknown as RAW file somewhere else, but 1d2, 500/4 + 1.4x, CS3 and C1, cloned a bit of fir tree sticking out the top of baby's head as it looked more like a unicorn!
Not much wrong with this, if anything. An excellent shot.
I found Islay a difficult island to work, even with map showing site information. Mind you after finding the bowmore distillary and the others I didn't care that much.
Nice comp Graham but a pity about the very bland sky. Still, when the chances come you have to take what is presented.

Hi Graham,
Very nice you did a great job, hand holding the 500 and 1.4!
I may have to catch up with you at some point as I`m going to Islay next October and a few pointers would be helpful!
