Not a Cloud in the Sky
I went down to the Georgia coast for 4 days last week and didn't see one single solitary cloud until the last day I was there. Not the best conditions for photography, but it was still alot of fun getting out of the mountains and down to the beach for a few days. Anyway, these old beach snags were all over the place and I was particularly drawn to this one.

Thanks for looking

Wade

Very cool image, Wade. I like the secondary snag as much as the first. Where on the Georgia coast is this?

That shot doesn't need clouds, it is perfect without them. Love the colors, but the composition is what makes the shot.

Great Shot Wade..your presentation is beautiful also. I can even see a shrimp boat off on the horizon.

Kudos!! :toast: You had to have gotten out to one of the barrier islands. That ain't Tybee or Jekyll!! Maybe St. Simon's?

Thanks for the comments everyone. This was taken on Cumberland Island - one of my favorite places. Harold - thanks for the heads up about the shrimp boat - i missed that.

Wonderful images, Wade! Cumberland Island is a paradise. My work takes me past the island several times or more each month by water. I shoot what I can from the boat; but seldom get the chance to go ashore. I am glad someone is getting those beautiful shots Cumberland has to offer! Well done. :toast:
