Dreamrise
Another of the shots taken a few months back in Streamway Parks, Johnson County, KS. I posted a similar version that had no foreground grasses. I am a little uncertain about the foreground grasses so I thought I'd get your opinion. Does this comp work for you?

Aptly named! Quite ethereal. I love the delicate detail in the grass and tree. It all works for me.

Hey Wayne - I like it. The grasses in the foreground are a good counterbalance for the trees. The sharp focus on the grass and the trees blend well with the foggy background. It has a dream quality to it. Nice capture.

Wayne, great shot. I think the foreground grasses add a bit of dimension to your photo.

This has beautiful light in it Wayne. I can't really make my mind up on the foreground grasses either. They don't seem to take away from anything and are balanced by the trees in the upper left. It is a nice shot with a wonderful look to it.

I like the balance with the foreground grass and the trees in the background. I think you did a nice job with this comp.

Anytime I can get grass like this to hold still I try to include it. And the taller stems work especially well with the calm water in the background I think. All the grasses seem to be an audience waiting for the sun. And the density of for was just right for this scene. Great shot Wayne! :toast:
