Taken in the summer.

I really thought about this shot, most people were interested in the aggressive poses and fancy tuft.
This particular bird was nursing 2 chicks and after most people had left for the boat, it seemed to enjoy the peace and quiet.

I like a lot as it is different. Well exposed, i would tone down the greenish blob behind the bird

Works for me too - the eye is the draw, but I really like the pattern of the feathers.

Excellent shot! Fantastic details and that eye is amazing!! The colour of the background is beautiful and really complements all the colours in the bird.

Hello Tim.

Nice closeup.

The eye and the touch of yellow really work well together, with some nice feather detail as well.
