Taken today I've just rebuilt the decking in the back garden and tidied the garage a little, I came across a mouse nest we have had mice the garage for quite a while but very seldom get chance to see them.
Anyway whilst loading up the dishwasher I saw one running around picking up some birdseed from the feeders at the edge of the decking that fell from the feeders so I opened the back door just enough to get the front of my lens through set up a little tripod and waited three came out altogether but this little chap was the bravest.

Nice image Phil, would crop of a tiny bit from the bottom...i guess you must have had a reason for photographing the mouse more to the right?

Hi Rene yes unfortunately the small opening I was shooting through greatly restricted the angle I could shoot at.

I have an instinctive aversion to 'cute', but I can't win on this one - aw shucks!

Lovely shot. I think the space around it gives it some scale (other rather lack of ;)). BTW it's a Wood Mouse, probably a juvenile given the head/body ratio.

Nice shot of a "wild " mouse . I agree -its a wood mouse. -or even a yellow necked.
They are certainly doing well around feeders.

Lovely shot! The colour of the ground and background really complements the colours. I think the composition is pretty good over to the right like that, if you had him much more over to the left you'd have cut his tail off. It's nice to see the tail coz it shows how long it is in relation to the body...
