Welcome Ben and a fine first post. The bird is stuck a little bit in the middle, i think it would even make the image better if it was slightly more to the right of the frame.
Also: the forum stand and falls my reciprocity, make sure that you take the time also to commend on other images besides uploading your own!
Anyway nice to see a new face and looking forward seeing more in time to come!

Hi Ben
Very nice - I like how the OOF gannets give this depth.
And welcome!

Welcome!!
Very nice first post, I agree with the cropping suggestions. I like the out of focus birds in the background, they give scale and a sense of what's happening. Nice pose too.
Looking forward to seeing more of your work!!

Hello Ben.
Welcome to UKNP.
Nice capture and love the detail in the wings.
Would agree with the comments on a slight crop to alter the composition of the Gannet.
All the best and look forward to seeing more of your work.

Welcome Ben,
lovely pose on the bird, little bit light on my works monitor but that means nothing really. I agree with comp suggestions.

Great stuff Ben - I had a trip there a couple of years ago. The pose is great, capped by the stuff in the beak. The background with the clouds and OOF birds is excellent. Looking forward to seeing more.
