This is from the middle of last month on a foggy morning. I have posted a couple of other shots from this same morning and area, so this isn't anything real different. I took a number of shots of this old split rail fence and posts with not much luck in getting something a little bit of character in it. But like many of my shots I included the tall grass as somewhat of a prominent feature with this one.
By the way, Everyone have a great and wonderful Thanksgiving!

Nice scene well composed and captured Brad. I like the combination of fog in the background and strong colors in the foreground a lot. The arrangement of the post and the hay bales in the frame seems just right.
Hope you have a great Thanksgiving as well.

I like the scene Brad. With the golden hues in this it comes across as seasons in transition. Did you shoot any verticals with the fencepost anchoring the fg in the left portion of the frame with the three bales and distant hillsides receeding into the mist?

I like the way you used the grass as a foreground element. Well composed and nice work.

Brad: Neat scene nicely captured. My only half penny nit is the grass tip that pierces the bale. >=))>

Beautiful shot. I love foggy morning pictures, this one captures the 'feeling' of those mornings very well for me.
