As Paul says - click on the page setup button on the LH panel of the print module (or file->print settings or page settings). You need to pick your printer and then you'll also need to pick an appropriate paper size. If you've only got A3, then you'll need to create a custom paper form - usually found in the dropdown paper size list in the printer properties somewhere.
If you want to do borderless printing, then you may also need to go into the printer properties to set borderless printing in the printer driver setup. Once you've done that, then you can go back to LR and set the margins to 0 and the print cell size to maximum.

If you have any templates setup and are clicking on them before printing, then you may be reseting the page details... As an alternative, once you've created your settings, save them as a user defined template by clicking on the + symbol at the top of the template browser pane (in left hand panel in the print module).
Hi Rene, have you checked your actual printer setup as you may need to choose your printer page setup size also. LR is not the best option for printing and would definitely recommend using some other software.

To make A3+ your default paper, access the printer preference settings through the Windows 'Start' Menu > Printers and Faxes. Right click on your printer and select "Printing Preferences". What ever settings you set here will be default. Close Lightroom and start again. The new defaults should be present in the Page Setup dialog. Hope this helps - worked for me.
