Today, I am thankful for many things, but especially having a few days off to spend with my entire family. Donna and I are doing the cooking with all three of our grown children here visiting for a few days, as well as my older sister.
A commentary I wrote in 2002 about the Thanksgiving holiday.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours Jim and all the NPNers and their families. I won't be spending the day with family (i wish i could - they are on the other side of the country) but I am having a small gathering at my house. I too am thankful for many things - but the top of that long list is still having the opportunity to share qualitiy days with my very old friend Spark.

My wife Kathy and I are also Thankful for what God has given us this year. We both have physical problems that we our dealing with but we are so happy to be together. My daughter who the medical community said would probably never have a child informed us she is pregnant and we will be Grandparents for the first time. To our NPN family Best Wishes and a Happy Thanksgiving!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING to everyone! And even though this is a US holidy, a day of thanks is universal so we should all be thankful; and not just today, but everyday.
