If any of you are interested here is a full in-depth look at using the Nikon 14-24 on my 1DsIII. Many people have a lot of questions regarding the 16-9.net adapter, the way it works, how versatile it is in the field etc so I have written an article about how to use this lens, not a comparisons article, but one with considerations and questions answered that may or may not be relevant to you. No graphs and charts, there are many of these already on other sites.

David, thanks for the thorough article and impressive amount of useful information contained within! I have the 16-9 adapter for my Mark III. I now just have to borrow a 14-24 and see if I like the lens and would find it useful in my photography. You article simplifies the amount of work I will have to do when trying out the lens. I am glad I procrastinated until you wrote this piece. Darwin.

Its a staggering piece of kit Mr W, just be aware the super quality is in wider apertures, f3.5 to f8, but its still an amazing lens covering all bases and overlapping many prime lens for the price of just one of those fabulous pieces of glass, whether its the Zeiss 21mm, the Canon 24mm f1.4, the 18mm Zuiko, the 14mm Canon L. There will be more articles in the next few weeks as I explore this set up even further.

Thank you for the article David, I was looking at the 14-24 this morning and am considering buying the lens. This was very useful, especially in regard to the manual focusing and setting the aperature.
