I have not posted in a while, but I took this one in Jasper, Ga. about a month ago, while showing at the Marber Festival there. I am wondering if I should make a pano of this to put on canvas, or leave as is. Would like your thoughts on this, please. I love photographing sunrises and sunsets, but have found that you half to work for them.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. A pano it will be. I was thinking in that direction, and since canvas is expensive, I needed some input.

Jackie, where in Jasper did you take this? I live in Ellijay, and am always looking for open, elevated locations for sunrises and sunsets.
By the way, a good location for sunrise shots near Jasper is the church driveway, overlooking the cemetary on the east side of Refuge Road, just north of the intersection of Refuge and Hwy 108, about 3/4 of a mile east of the Ga 515/108 intersection (the traffic light immediately north of the RaceTrac gas station about 3 miles south of Jasper, and about 2 miles north of the end of I-575/beginning of Ga Hwy 515.
off 575 from th balcony of the super 8 motel. Another good place is just before you get to the new highschool. There is three white rental houses I think on the right which gives you a good place to park and walk to the top of the peak for great shots.I think this is the highway that goes to Tate. There are several places along that road.

The sky is spectacular. I agree with Wade...maybe a tad brighter.
