Fog didnt burn off as early as id hoped, but it was nice and quiet in the Garden yesterday morn, when i finally saw the fog rolling out i headed up Rattlesnake. Here's one of the Peak, another shot from the ridge at ESS.

I like the original comp here. And the light is still flattering even with the fog burning off as late as it did. I do wish the top of the peak were visible.

Hey Stan, I too like the unique comp. I was gonna go to GOG yesterday morning as well. Woke up early to check the light, looked outside and said "nah" crawled back under the warm covers!

Looks good, Stan. Bummer about the light being a bit later, but it still works.

This definitely still works. I'm not bothered by the clouds at the top of the peak at all, and actually like them! Would have been nice if clouds lifted earlier for better light, but better to get a nice shot like this than nothing.

The light looks pretty good to me, and the fog really sets the mood. I don't mind the cloud on the peak either!.

I like how the peak is coming out of the fog. I might try to bump up the contrast just a wee bit, just my taste though.
