About a month ago or so (I lose track of time these days since I have been on the road 100% of the time) I was sent up to Oregon and dragged along the Ebony. These here are from that trip. It was a productive weekend. The Japanese Garden in Portland was a recommended sight by Rick Dunn and the colors were absolutely awesome. I visited the gardens, the river gorge and silver falls state park over the long weekend.

Very nice collection of images Richie! I was at Silver Falls in June--what a fantastic place! HUGE waterfalls and you can hike behind/under most of them. We had a lot of fun there. The gorge was awesome too--would have liked to have seen fall colors there!
Your shots in the Japanese garden are really top notch! Beautiful comps and colors.

WOW! That is one fine collection of images you got there, RichieV! Looks like your timing was perfect. The shots with the leaves on the ground (close-up on rock and carpet of) are just amazing.

Absolutely beautiful images. I've long wanted to go to Portland's Japanese Gardens during peak fall colors and your shots make me want to go all the more. Great work.
