Idaho Sunset
The wife and I went on nice little cruise yesterday and we got lucky enough to see what we thought was one killer sunset. Since we don't get many Idaho images here even though it's listed in the banner I thought I would try and help the state out and give it a little 'pub'. Just a side note, I also noticed Nevada doesn't have a home here on NPN.

Sawtooth Mts - C&C welcome and thanks for looking.

Whoa! That's a killer shot. I figured these lakes would be frozen by now.

Absolutely a worthy representation of Idaho, Jeff. I've been doing some research on the Sawtooths lately for a possible future trip. What lake is this?

Gorgeous image! Love the colors and the reflection in the lake.

Like Todd said, killer sunset.

I could be wrong, but that appears to be Little Redfish Lake which is a few miles south of Stanley,ID. I've been to Idaho many times, and although I've taken a few pics while there my main focus was on kayaking the awesome whitewater rivers of the state, like the Salmon (Middle Fork, South Fork, and Main), Selway, Bruneau, Payette (South Fork), Idaho is just loaded with good whitewater!

Josh and Don - This is of Redfish Lake. Little Redfish was frozen over with a small portion still open, but that will probably change with single digit temps forecasted this week. The road was snow covered, but as you can see there was surprisingly no ice on Redfish.

Thanks for the comments!
