Turning the stone or is it a Mussel?
Usual set up on Gitzo at low level.
Always find Turnstones never seem to come out sharp enough but well pleased with this effort.

Hi Major,

Very good indeed. It would be a good shot of a Turnstone on it's own but having it doing something it is named for is excellent. Not sure if it a Stone or a Mussel.

Great shot thanks for sharing

Regards

Rob

PS I had to cancel my trip to Norfolk as my youngest daughter had a bad chest infection

Excellent! The low angle and the lighting really make the shot.

Very nice indeed Major, is it actually perching on that bit of weed..? The detail and behaviour captured here all makes for a wonderful shot.

A cracking shot, nothingmore to say.

That bit of weed is Samphire Brett and if you look closely the other leg is on the floor.
If it sat on that it would flatten it.
