I was pleased to come away with a couple of images of Common Seals from Donna Nook as we don't have any down this way.
By the way, a lot of comment has been passed regarding the 'circus' at DN, but I have to say that, although there were far too many people there for my own tastes (aren't we all a bit selfish wanting the place to ourselves!), I didn't see any photographers behaving in a particularly bad way. I did see a few people who were less "animal aware" and hence, as they approached the seals in a less than competent manner with shorter lenses they probably didn't get the photos they were expecting but generally the behaviour was quite reasonable. At no point did I see any seals getting panicked or distressed.

I like this but would have preferred the foam wasnt breaking over its back. Lovely light.

Have to agree with your comments Robert. I was there last saturday and did not see any animals in distress due to photographers.
Love your shot by the way! Well done!

I really enjoy the common seals and this one is just great Robert. Very well seen and capture. The surf and winter colours all add to a very pleasing image.

Love this in the surf Robert. I just thought "bathtime" when I saw it
