Snowball
This wind-made snowball on the beach last winter caught my eye with it's "tracks" in the background and the glow at the base where the snowball is reflecting back onto snow that was on the ground.

Very interesting capture. I like the different ways the light shows up. Nice detail in the snow as well. We got our first snow today and most is gone tonight.

Toni, I love this image! It literally stopped me in my tracks. The path of the snowball and the light make it look like the snowball is hovering over the surface. The shadow is also interesting because it seems inconsistent with the snowball. The composition compliments everything well. Well done!

Hey, Death Valley doesn't have anything on southern Michigan!!

Nice capture Toni - very intriguing!

I thought of the racetrack at first sight of this image as well.

Well seen and excellent capture. Well handled exposure too. That glow is fantastic.

Thanks guys!

Kendall...we got our first snow a few weeks ago...just received a new snowfall yesterday, with more to come this week.

CJ..you got that right! If you look in the right places, southern Michigan has as many photo ops as Death Valley...they're just different kinds of photo ops!

Nicely done, Toni. I like the track, but I especially like the glow of the backlit snowball.
