Another capture from my Arches trip. I was struck by the repeating shapes of the "ace" figures. C&C welcome. Thanks for having a look!

Nice!
I like this one quite a bit. Reminiscent of ancient totems, and a view of this popular area not often seen.
Perhaps cropping a half inch or so on the left to lose that tree (?) would be an asset.

Great unique take on an iconic, classic landscape! Nice color too. I agree with John's cropping suggestion perhaps with a crop on the right as well for more, forgive the pun, "balance."

Very nice, I really like the color gradient in the sky on this.

I see the repeating shape that you are referring to, John , subtle but pretty cool. I also really like the colors on this one as well, I think it would look great in print.

This is really sweet. We just got back from Arches. I wish I'd thought of something like this!

Thanks guys! I knew this would be a keeper before I snapped the shutter. When I opened it in DPP I went wow! I suppose I could do without the trees on the left. I spotted these sandstone figures as I drove into Arches Monday night. I went back some hours later.. er earlier.... I am not sure what time it was, other than so dark thirty. I put the cam on the pod and waited unitl it happened.

Very cool take on this classic Arches icon. SIlohetted images of recogonizable features work so well with the glow of sunrise/sunset behind them, I shot some very similair scenes in Monument Valley this past week!.
