Hi Guys,
Just returned from a trip to the UK where i stayed with my wonderful host mr. Paul Ashton. We had some great days with relatively good weather and went out to Donna Nook last saturday.
Despite all the discussions going on about Donna Nook here recently i found it to be a great place where most of the photographers where very causious towards the seals.
Here's one of the shots i took last saturday and i hope to return there soon!
Greetings,
Jeroen Stel

HI Jeroen,
Very typical behaviour shot and well seen and taken.. The male has obviously been through a few battles during this season and if not careful about to have another one on his flippers..!

Nice one Jeroen. I like the facial expressions and the colour contrast between the two animals

Hi Jeroen,
Looks like you had some sun - more than can be said for Donna Nook yesterday, but it was brighter than I had feared.
I was also dreading going on the basis of my expectation of a bunfight, but whilst it was busy (very so at the nursery) with I'd guess around 25-30 or so photographers out on the beach area I can genuinely say I so no bad behaviour towards the seals or undue stress caused and no thoughtlessness towards other photographers (2 people even stopped to check if they were wandering into my backgrounds before they did so).
Maybe the previous weekend was just a bad one off, but a cold, enjoyable and sensible day all round from this photographers perspective.
