Red Fox
Taken during an off-road 4x4 excursion in Cazorla Natural Park, Andalucia early September. This inquisitive chap overcame his nervousness and stayed long enough for me to fire off half a dozen shots. I like the expressive eyes in this one but would welcome the views of others.

Hi Cliff great capture, nice expression in the eyes and I am not quite sure about the grasses going over it's face especially it's nose. :toast:

Nice shot, lovely colours. I don't find the grass going over his face too distracting, but I do think some eye contact would have made the image stronger.

Hi Cliff,

Time to get the strimmer out! Just kidding! I like it it and don't find the odd blade distracting!

Think you have done well here Cliff and especially as you only used an 18-200.
He must have come reasonable close and it doesnt show in his face that you are around. :toast:

Very nice. I don't find the grass too distracting and the lack of eye contact gives it a nice, candid feel.

Thanks to all for your constructive comments - always appreciated and helpful. There seems some debate over the merits of eye contact so here's another of the same chap with better eye contact and a bonus of his lower teeth showing. Same settings except the ISO went up a tad to 1600 and it shows .... Cliff
