Jemima
Cattle Egret taken today. Not a common bird in Staffordshire (yet). This one likes to hang out in a paddock with a group of horses. Apparently it's been there about 2 months. The lady landowner thought it was some sort of duck and has named it Jemima, hence the thread title.

E-510, 300/f2.8 + 2x TC, ISO 400, 1/640 @f7.1, cropped about 25%.

Not a bad day all-in-all. Cattle Egret in the morning and Waxwing at lunchtime :jump:

Hi Paul,

Nice record shot! The exposure looks good under the circumstances!
