Morning Rays

The morning sun shines through some lifting fog near Thunder MT. wisconsin. Was on my way to another location, but had to stop and shoot this.

Comments appreciated.

(had to resize here at work, looks a bit soft afterwards)

Canon 50d
Canon 28-135 IS lens
ISO 100

Glad you stopped. Nice shot fine how it is but I don't need all the foreground grass. The sun throught the tree realy is nice.

I like this composition just like it is, Kevin. It conveys a very nice mood.

I like the mood in this image, Kevin. Good exposure..and keep the foreground grasses!

Great work, Kevin. Keep the image just the way you have it now - looks great as is.

Thanks guys.

I included the fg grasses because I like the layering effect it gives the image.

Kevin, I like the layering in this too and how the rays are radiating through the branches. Personally I might try and raise the level of brightness in the middle ground just a hair! :toast:

Nice work, Kevin. It's difficult to pull off shots like this but you succeeded brilliantly here.
